Yesterday, I spoke of a quiet week. I meant my wife’s and mine. But, it was a true yawner on Wall Street as well. We puttered around to different retail outlets, scooping some incredible deals here and there. Drove nearly 100 miles!
When I got home, the market was about to close, and, well, you know. It had pretty much gone nowhere.
This morning is at least a little different. The pre-openers are up by between 4 and 5 tenths, and so, we’re looking at a bit of a positive opening at 9:30, as of the numbers just after 7:00 a.m. EST.
The year-end is coming up. The indexes are barely in what would be deemed a Bull Market type of technical picture, as far as their respective moving averages are concerned. There will be a full review by everyone everywhere, as Friday is the holiday, and everyone will be parsing numbers over the weekend, and trying to divine what the opening days of the New Year will bring.
I intend to add more later………. moments before the open, the futures are up between .68 and .73%. It’ll be a decent pop!
Here’s to your successful investing!
